I am! I love to build and have been drooling over all those inaccessible world objects for years. I know some lovely Simmers have liberated quite a few over time, but not over 1000! That's what I'm most excited for in this patch. I've been coveting those stepping stones in the public garden in Willow Creek, plus all the different trees, shrubs, flowers, grass, fencing, etc. in all the worlds. Also, ever since StrangerVille came out I've wanted to get my hands on that old windmill in the world.
I can't even begin to fathom how this is going to change builds for everyone, I do know a lot are excited about the cars. Even if not driveable. I can't wait to see exactly what is included. I'm hoping also for some of the bridges, the big round hay bales in Brindleton Bay, the boardwalks going down to the beach and the fencing near them and the lighthouse. OH! I wonder if we'll get the lighthouse liberated too? I'm guessing no, but one can dream! Would be incredible if all the different wildlife/animals were liberated as well, such as; the cows, sheep, ducks, etc. Again, I'm guessing no on those, but it could happen! ;)
Hmm, I wonder if they'll liberate the water wheel/mill in Windenburg, docks, and ALL the wonderful waterfalls across the worlds. The waterfalls is probably asking for too much. But again, maybe? lol
I could post a giant list of all the objects I'm hoping have been liberated, but those are some of the ones I'm most excited to see if included. It's going to be extremely fun checking it all out in debug tomorrow. \o/ :p
Having said all that, THE most important, of course, is bug fixes. I haven't experienced most others have had, but that's likely due to the fact I've been avoiding the gameplay they involve, such as; vampires, toddlers, etc. However, I have been disappointed in some of the Off the Grid features since I love to play Rags to Riches/Off the Grid. So, I'm hoping that has been tweaked/fixed in this patch as well.
The CAS stories sounds interesting too. Not sure if I'll use it after an initial cursory experiment, but who knows. It might just get me out of a rut I've been in using a limited number of traits, careers, etc. It'll be nice when creating NPCs/Townies at least.
The new branding update doesn't look all that bad in my opinion. Yes, it's bright and very colorful, but I like colorful. *points to avy* I don't spend a lot of time on the main screen anyway and if it does start to bother me when traveling, I'll just look away until it loads or something. It's only a few seconds.
Happy Simming! <3
