I guess they just wanted to stay neutral. Not everyone celebrates Christmas or Thanksgiving. But then the Menorah is called a Menorah, and the Kinara a Kinara why didn’t they change the names too ? They’re religious items though, I guess they can’t change the names like that, that could look disrespectful.
