there's alot of winter holidays so I always thought that they named it "Winterfest" as to not be viewed as picking one holiday over the other, same with Harvestfest or whatever its called in-game.
the menorah and kinara are there-and with the correct names- because well it would be wrong to just change the name of those objects and they also wanted everyone to be able to create a holiday to their liking.
