I have 137 households (ts2 recreation save) and honestly I wing it. I haven't found the right tool for collecting information, but I take loads of screenshots of key moments. I personally think maybe the sims wiki for fanons would be a good place for in depth into, I also think Plum Tree would work once it's got a few more features.
