Kind of annoyed at the scared emotion

I don't think the scared emotion is a problem for me. So far the big problem is as others have said, that all sims are afraid of whatever the devs have decided is scary rather than having individuality. I shouldn't have to choose between sims fearing storms or loving them, there should be a neutral option that should be more common than terrified. Storm chaser should be for sims who actually love stormy weather, not every sim I want to stop overreacting to every storm. The scared emotion isn't really any more annoying in that way than the tense emotion was before.

Very true! I’d even be happy if they made it where the storm caused a scared emotion if the Sim is outside in it, but maybe just tense when indoors. I think that’s kind of how blizzards work, they get a tense “what am I doing out here” moodlet when outside, but it goes away once indoors.

Just updating: I have seen a second scared sim. The Foxbury mascot showed up at a Britechester rally, and one of the students was scared of him. I thought it was pretty funny. I imagined he had a run in with a lobster when he was a child. Probably stuck his hand in one of those lobster tanks at the market and got pinched. I haven't seen anyone else mention this fear.

I really like the scared emotion. It’s adding more realistic behaviour to the game. I love the how the Sims portrait shows it.

I don't mind it but get scared of thunderstorms But runny out of the darn gym where she is completely safe "hey get back here!" seriously sheesh ill understand if were outside but she was indoors and using the shower. I have UI cheat mod get rid of it otherwise she be out the door being butt naked is all I need to get embarrassed. But I don't mind it but get annoying very fast and don't have a paranormal pack yet.

I think they patched the scared emotion in the latest update. So it’s there whether you have Paranormal or not.

Unpopular Opinion:

If People are annoyed let them be annoyed. Just because certain things dont happen in your game doesnt make it invalid and its not always caused by mods.
If you write in a dedicated thread that you are annoyed by it and all the people are jumping at you??? Why are you even here. I mean of course i can delete the feature and stuff but at the same time i can also voice my opinion about why i am annoyed by it.
And why the angsty mood? Why would EA/Maxis nerf it, when this pack/update seems like a hit. Why would they listen to the minoritie and spend time and ressources into removing stuff.
And why put the blame on the ones that are annoyed by it like they have a say... or that big of an influence in the sims 4. Beggers are not choosers and EA/Maxis barely listens anyway. They now what we want but at the end of the day its their game and we barely get a say and dont now the full picture off why exactly certain things were nerfed in the past (Vampires)


Ehm... anyway

Would be cool if Sim were scared by fires. x
