I haven't really seen that as an issue as they are a business and they are selling us finished products. Doesn't matter if that product is about a specific culture to me, what I tend to care about is how well they are made and how they work in the game.
What bothers me is that these kits seems to have taken over as content for a live service, optional kits, focused on very specific themes that are often not available in the game so I have no idea what to use them for. No focus on development, just clothes.
I never expected them to represent every culture, what I did expect was for them to support this live service and make a good game, and apparently that's too much to expect.
