First off, thank you for asking the community of players about gameplay for this pack!
Q1: I think it would be neat if knitting became an elective option when a Sim is enrolled in University (DU).
Q2: Indifferent.
Q3: As someone who once, somewhat recently, attempted to teach myself how to knit, one thing I thought of that would tie the desk in with knitting is that I would sit at my desk to knit because I was watching how-to videos to help me learn.
Q5: I don't think so…seems a bit silly, but then again…this is a game & apparently jogging with wine is now a thing so I don't see why standing to knit should be too weird ;)
Q7: I feel like the "Volunteer with family" option is perfect for this! I know someone who gets together with others and they knit hats that are then donated to kids with cancer, some get hair attached to them as well. I've also read a story which I found heartwarming about someone who knitted scarves then left them in random places with a note on them for anyone in need to take.
Q8: Uncomfortable/Scratchy/Tense moodlet, maybe whims to change clothing/shower, maybe earn extra relationship points with the person who gifted it to them when they wear it, option to burn it…?
Q10: No thank you! I love the idea of "Teach to Knit," but definitely user-directed in my opinion. I don't care for the idea that all my sims will likely end up being level 10 knitters just because I have this pack. I bought Get Famous, but most games I play with fame turned off or I only want one member of a household to be famous. Likewise, not all of my Sims are level 10 in gardening, exercise, music, etc. I just don't think it would make much sense, at least for my gameplay style.
