Last name didn't change after getting married.

I've been having the same problem but i just started a new legacy game and got my sim married to J huntington iii and her last name changed.

You can edit their last names now, but that shouldn't be an issue. Spouses should be able to have the same last name if they're not yet married but plan to be. :disappointed:

You can change Sims' names anytime you're in CAS, even if it's just Plan Outfits.

Sims don't automatically change their name in Sims 4. Do you use MC Command Center? It has name-changing settings - check what yours are set at.

I don't use cheats to change the last name. I go to a mirror and click on change appearance and it allows me to change the last names of my Sims....

This is an old topic, though, dating back to when you still needed to use the cas.fulleditmode cheat.

You can now click on a mirror > select Change Sim > Then click on his/her name and change the name from there. Works perfect.

My sims can't even seem to remember they are married, lol!

Since the first day i have been able to go to any dresser and click on the sims surname and change it , Youve never needed any cheats

Testingcheats true cas.fulleditmode You can change the name.

All you have to do is go onto plan outfit via mirror or dresser and click on the sim's name in cas. You can change it there without cheats.
