Least Favorite or Worst Aspiration?

Curious what others' experiences are because I've just been having a hard time with one this past month.

I've been working on the next part in my Sims 4 series, which covers Spa Day, and I've just been completely stuck on the Self-Care Specialist aspiration. If you haven't heard of it, it essentially involves you performing wellness services to customers like massages and getting paid for it.

Thing is, the whole procedure just seems really buggy and is not at all viable in terms of making money. My Sims can get through one customer with no issues, but everything after that just freezes up. Customers will stand around idling on their phone, waiting for a turn, while the player's Sim will freeze up like the simulation is lagging or something. You know, when they start getting all stiff and bob their heads in a random direction?

Turns out, you can offer a paid service to random townies without them asking first. That's cool, but sometimes the interaction will just never play. They'll just continue to do idle chit-chat. If you do manage to get a customer on the table, there is a chance it'll cancel itself in favor of someone else asking or something happening on the lot. Be careful of that.

One of the goals is to maintain a regular customer and provide services to them 10 times. Sounds easy enough if you can get past all of what I mentioned above, but the game never tells you how many times you've provided services to a regular customer. Instead of "0/10", it's "0/1", so you have to keep track of it yourself. There's also a cooldown to take into account that, from what I've heard, is about 18 hours? Unless you have a mod to check these hidden buffs, you'll have to keep track of these things yourself as well.

I'm still stuck on the regular customer goal as I type this out, but it's just been really tedious. The reward itself is just so ehhh... from what I can assume? More money from wellness services sounds good if that's what you plan on doing for a living, but compared to other freelance activities, the bugs just hold it back from being a viable or even fun option.

Sorry about that huge rant, but what's an aspiration that you couldn't stand when you played it? Whether it's boring, tedious, buggy, the reward sucks, or all of the above. Rant your heart out about it!
  • It's been a while but I don't recall any particular problems with completing the Spa Day aspirations. I had one sim complete all three shortly after the Spa Day refresh. Inner Peace, Zen Guru, and Self Care Specialist. I also didn't experience any freezing with customers.

I've not completed any aspirations I couldn't stand. There are several that I'm not interested in completing. I'm not at all interested in the Deviance aspirations, Vampire Family, Master Vampire, and the Werewolf aspirations.
  • Villainous Valentine is probably one of my least favorite aspiration, in the sense that I have no desire to use this aspiration anytime soon.

The Nerd brain aspiration is an aspiration, that on a whole, I quite like, however, part of it, I dislike. There's a step where you have to own a rocket ship, and also launch or upgrade it 5 times. And I have a sim, Inez Depoint, who I totally wanted to do this aspiration with, wanted the aspiration reward, it's just the sim in question will never buy a rocket ship nor get rocket science.

My least favourite aspirations are villainous valentine and serial romantic. Cheating and intentionally breaking up marriages are against my character. Vampires are also not my cup of tea.

The worst to do however would be those that depend on autonomous actions of other sims. For the fame aspiration I had to wait for fans to ask for a selfie 3 times. My sims was asked for autographs dozens of times but no selfies. Right now I am doing the cats and dogs aspiration and I am waiting for my pets to misbehave so I can discipline them.

I have done all those aspirations (still working on pets) for my supersim but I will never do them again.

The self care aspiration was tricky as far as I can remember. I struggled with the regular customer as well. In the end I created a temporary club to get to force one particular sim (Victor Feng) over on a daily basis to give him a massage. The cool downs for the wellness aspirations are really annoying.

And of course there are some issues as well. The villainous valentine can't be done after the serial romantic because that reward trait eliminates jealousy. My sim with the fresh chef reward trait is also having an issue with leaving food to spoil for the bust the dust aspiration.

I haven't tried all the aspirations for the packs that I have, but at this point my least favourite is probably Party Animal. I find events exhausting (both in the game and in real life, lol), so having to hold all those events seems like too much work. Also, you have attend other sims' events, and I'm not even sure how that would work. My sims haven't had a birthday party invite in ages (even after the recent update), and I don't think invitations to go to festivals count toward the aspiration.
  • @PandoraTO I haven't done it in a while, but I think the events you need to "attend" can be events you host yourself.
  • So far the least for me are the love aspirations and also the Villainous Valentine mostly because I dont like cheaters. As for the Soulmate aspiration, they need to have a lot of dates probably not my thing. Im not a fan of the family aspiration that much either especially the Successful Lineage because everytime I saw some premades/townies with that aspiration they seem to view their children as nothing else than a "moneymaker" for them, but maybe thats just me taking things too personally.

My favourite usually the bodybuilder because they tend to live a bit longer (and kinda easy to do), knowledge aspiration especially the renaissance one, creative aspirations, the Jungle Adventure aspiration because I like the sims being adventurous and travelling around and last but not least, the Chief of Mischief for younger sims.

I've never done the Grilled Cheese aspiration and never intend to. I've not yet tried some of the newer ones.
