Let’s Play Observation...
Anyone notice that all of the let’s plays these days start with cheats galore? I miss the days when let’s players started with nothing and you saw the sims progress in life naturally, but maybe it’s just me.

- I see what you mean, sometimes though I think it’s neccessary for the story they are trying to tell. For example if you make a family in CAS most of the time you will need to cheat to build them or or buy a house big enough assuming you aren’t doing a challenge. But having said that I don’t watch too many Lets Plays.
- The only cheat I have ever used is the money cheat and it depends on the story I’m telling in my game. Some games I mother lode the hell out of the game, others I start from scratch, earn money then use that money to build a house.
- I don't watch any let's plays but I can't imagine wanting to sit and look at someone skill build or grind money with their sims. I think cheating is probably a necessary evil in that scenario.

Agreement. Although some I see are doing challenges that require no cheats. I think my eyes started to bleed and and my brain cracked last time I tried to watch one of those.
Grinding is fine while I'm playing but just painful when I'm watching someone else doing it.- Hi all,
Before the recent update, when I move my cursor over a spliced plant, a list of all the plants that made it would be displayed. Now all I get is 'Spliced Plant' and a quality level display. Is anyone as annoyed about this as me? - Sometimes they want their Let's Play to have a backstory - not all families are dirt poor to begin with.

@AGLTS401 I thought it was just me.
@jaymancraz most of the let's plays I watch are actually reviewing mods or cc. They cheat galore. I have tried to watch some LP's where the person started from scratch. Like a legacy and it was like watching paint dry. Like speed some stuff up. So I don't mind a bit of cheating here and there.
