I'm thinking of giving way and having this, I do prefer to keep my mods to a minimum - even small ones.
But, yes, they really need an option to turn it off or choose one.
Of course, you can make an outfit to go cycling with the helmet of your choice and wear it before you go out on your bike and they will keep the helmet you chose, but it's a pain to do it this way and they will sometimes end up choosing to wear that outfit for other situations.
