Lethal Heat Moodlet Problem

Has anyone else experienced this? My game keeps bugging out at various restaurants. My sims get the Uncomfortable +99 moodlet: Lethal Heat saying they are burning to death, no matter what weather. In game it's the middle of winter, my sim is wearing her cold weather clothes, and this moodlet appears not matter if she's inside or out, thermostat or not. The sim also had the Morgue-Like Cold moodlet at THE SAME TIME even though the thermostat was not on AC. This killed two of my sims already, and the only thing that stops it is turning the option for weather to affect sims moods off. I can't even find any one else that's having this problem and no one is responding to me at Answers HQ
  • I have not experienced this myself, and I'm sorry your game is glitched like this. Have you tried repairing the game from Origin? If not, I would do that and see if it doesn't resolve your issue.
  • Were they drinking hot drinks at the time?
Things like Tea or Coffee to name a few.

If so, it's currently under investigation:

  • I've had this crop up a few times, no idea how to fix it and it wasn't on a game I was keeping.

No, I had just traveled to the lot when it appeared. >_<
So far it has only happened at restaurants I believe.

I have tried repairing and updating, clearing mods/cc, caches, everything.
  • I have yet to see this in my game. But, my Global Superstar finally held his first concert in a ginormous venue I forgot I downloaded from the Gallery, and the poor guy shivered like I've never seen a Sim do in between songs! Happily, he was wearing a thick winter sweater, gloves and a hat, so I never got a notice of impending doom, else I would have cried. (I had to roll back two game saves, recently, to get him back to where he was prior to my very first emotional deaths in my game, just to set things right again.) Oi!

Have you removed your Sims 4 folder from your Documents file and let the game regenerate? If not, give that a try. Something is amiss in your game. Once you do that, check to see if the problem still exists. If not, then substitute the empty Tray for your old one, and do the same with the saves files. This will restore your saved games. Play and see if the problem has been eliminated. If not, ask for help at the new site where they are suggesting we take our problems.
