I certainly hope that there are other ways than the cauldron to raise magic ability. That would be a limitation on the Spellcaster.
How many times do we need to enter the Realm before we can "go solo" and what can we do? We have quite a bit of information, yet we really know nothing. :D
I'm trying so hard to not assume anything because I don't want to set myself up for disappointment. As info comes out, I'm altering the stories in my head and thinking about Plan B.
