Lifestate's Name in RoM

I'm sure there will be a cheat to give the trait like there is for Vamps (argh...I just assumed).

I don't mind the name spellcaster, although I would have been just as happy with witch. I see it as a broad term for all types of magic user and no more gender neutral than witch or wizard. I'm more a fan of folklore and Discworld though than Harry Potter. Mage makes me think of a learned magic user, while spellcaster seems more general and to the point. It will be interesting to see how versatile spellcasters actually are. I hope this doesn't become a trend though as I want werewolves, not shapeshifters.

If they're shapeshifters, we'd better be getting more than wolf options (Werecats, werefoxes, werebears, werellamas...)

I personally love the term a lot.

Personally, I would rather the creators focused more on developing the wolf form, behaviour, pack, rank strengths / weaknesses, pack system, lunar cycle etc. I want them to be a worthy rival for my vampires. Some special interactions between them would be a nice touch too...but I'm getting off topic. Sorry, back to spellcasters! I really hope they are as versatile as our vampires are and their name suggests.

The term is fine. Most likely when l play my magical sim, my mind may call them a witch or something else.

I am amazed by the number of titles you can use for people performing magic. I play the game in Dutch and there are very few alternatives to wizard. The official Dutch sims website talks about 'tovenaars', most commonly translated as wizards. So I might be playing with wizards after all. :D

But to be honest, if we can choose the magic branch of our sim, choose perks and even decide if they use a wand or not, there seems to be room to customise spellcasters to fit the sort of magical person we want them to be.

I don't mind what they are called but I'll probably think of them mostly as witches and wizards.

Spellcasters reminds me of the Beautiful Creature book, but I think they were just casters. Still it makes me think of that book series.

To me they are witches. But I don't care what they are officially called. It's all good.
