what I am wonder though, since it is a lifestate will there be special cas "items" aka colors for eyes, skin, skindetails and so on?
I know they won't have a second form but still, they are magical, occult, they should at least be able to have some unusual looks besides clothing/hair, right? RIGHT???
I was hoping to more glowing eyes like Vampires have, but they would work differently. Only when a sim is using magic their eyes would glow, sort of a thing. but they would have advertised it...

Sorry to burst your bubble but there is no logical reason to add magical eyes and facial markings. Most magic users in pop culture look like a normal human till they avaperate.
what is this "log-ic-al" reason you are talking about and why is it needed? ;)
Ever seen wizard of Oz? The wicked witch has green skin the whole movie through.
Mermaids also don't have weird skin in most popular versions, they only got a tail in mermaidform, no different eyes either + they can also use the vampire eyes in Sims4, even though they are not vampires.
Even normal, human sims can use the vampire skins and have at least two unusual eyecolors available (light purple and the kinda red one).
Fairies are magic users, so are genies and neither of them look normal, one could say vampires are using magic too though it is not called that but powers, what else is it? Still on the magicside to me.
Could go on but really the best thing I can say is:
Imagination and creativity :)
sorry about the rant, I just really need them to look magical (well, actually I just want one of them to look evil).
Right. this is Magic we're talking about there is no Logic.
I personally don't go by a lot of Pop culture only a select few. "JK Rowling and everyone else is wrong, I'm right."
Like I said, This pack doesn't seem to have a lot of Styles I like. so I think my sim's outfits and costumes will remain the same I don't plan on altering anything too much, except using cheats to equip them with the spell casting trait.
Vintage Glamour, Get Together, Dine Out, Romantic Garden and Vampires hold a lot of styles and build buy material that I thoroughly enjoy. I personally would have a preferred a Sims Medieval approach for my fantasy save. Dress my sims like High Nobility in Baroque Fashion, in beautiful gowns and suits. who knows maybe these new Clothing options will be useful in the future.
The Stained Glass windows and I do see some buy content I like I just don't know it they will be cohesive in my already existing builds. I hope there are other Variations of Cauldrons, because I don't know where I'm going to fit that thing... It's not going to fit In the Study of my Sorcerer's Tower... Maybe outside... or No it won't fit in the grand hall... or the kitchen.
I think i nice ornate wrought Iron, Gold Silver 2x2, or 3x3 cauldron would have this cauldron looks like it's 5x5 or 7x7. like the Cupcake Factory machine. I know it's to be able to create potions and curses together, but It looks Huge!
My main sorcerer is the sim you see in my profile pic. Leather jacket, or red long hooded Cloak Dar wash jeans Knee high Leather Boots, Gold iPhone X, loves video games, loves to play Soccer, Go on adventures, Escapades around the city, Hike in the woods, travel would love to see France, Ireland, England, Italy, Germany, Greece, Israel, Egypt, Arabia. His best friend is a werewolf, his girlfriend's entire Family are a Clan of Supernatural Hunters, and have tried to kill her boyfriend more than He can count on his fingers. Magic is a main focus of mine but I not to have my spell casters to be Hovering over a cauldron all day or have their broom or wand practically glued to their hands. I want them to have a life
with Magic, not a life
of Magic. on top of Teenage hormones, first love, bullies, and fighting literal daemons, while focusing on a somewhat normal education, graduating and college, how does having magic for of change that?
