However, that does not vindicate the company from fault. The company is still responsible as a Live Service to live up to their promises. And the customer has the right to request things and complain.
If I buy a computer, and one of the hard drives dies after 3 days, wouldn't I want the company to fix it? Same goes if I buy a broken game (the Sims 4), I would want them to fix it.
They totally have to fix bugs. Personality is not a bug. It's just something you are not happy with in the game. Even with the computer analogy... if the hard drives dies, the company has to fix it. But the company doesn't have to upgrade your hard drive to ssd six years later.
Live Service doesn't exactly mean "giving you everything you could possibly want from a life simulator for free".
