If you use the B&H sales shelves and wall (for selling items that hang on walls), yes you will lose the "restock master objects" ability. I was forgetting the GtW retail shelves. I'll have to try them out in my next B&H setting. (Right now my sim has closed her business and moved to Evergreen Harbor [Eco Lifestyle], to be with her fiancee, where she's gardening, writing books, and skilling up for Rock Climbing.)
As for the Rice Cooker, have you already upgraded it all the way? Wondering if that could be why its food still has a timer on it for freshness. My sim doesn't currently use a rice cooker, as her kitchen is too small for it. I'll make some adjustments and give that a try with a rice cooker, to see if that has something to do with it. (I make sure all my Sims have the Master Chef abilities/perks.)
GameGirl2168a it's actually a pressure cooker - I 'paid attention' to the exact name. It was the first time I used it, Fully upgraded. it does look loke a rice cooker or even a crock pot style appliance. I do like having more varieties with the dishes!
as for 'restock masters' go, I have noticed that some collection items do not allow you to "restock" them. Like the Bird feathers which become pictures on the wall, when you get the whole collection, combine them, the Blue owl that they make cannot be restocked either - in my game. wonder if the option was left out by design? ...... IF B&H shelves/walls, I assume are specific to B&H. If you remember in the future, after you have tried using other shelving, please share what you discover. The shelving I actually love is the peg board from ?computer/gamer? kit. I love the options of wall placement, colors; able to place so many different objects on them; I use them a lot in the flea market I am still building. (no cheating 😉 😁). I did grow money trees tho!! 🤑
Best wishes for your sim and her fiancee'!
