If your sim is an aspiring actor, and has at least a level 5 or higher in the Acting skill, have them perform Risky actions while on-the-job with them. It'll help them gain fame and a career promotion...

Already, Mason Steele(my actor/Rags to Riches founder) is a level 5 or 6 in the Actor career and has won one Starlight Accolade Award for his outstanding acting skills.
Note: that R2R challenge is over, but Mason is married to the daughter of a former actor. Mason is an actor himself, but hasn't gotten an award yet.
