loft beds dont work with things underneath them?
why ? is it just a bug or was it like this in sims 3 ? i place a sofa or a chair or something underneath the loft bunk and they cant climb the bunk ?

@SeanBobbyG I thought the same thing, but apparently that's not the case. The loft beds do work with objects underneath, but if you were to place a desk under the bed, you would have to make sure it is only one tile wide and under the head of the bed not the foot or in the middle. That's the only way to make it work without obstructing the routing.
For some reason, some non-functional items can go under the bed and the routing is fine, but when you place a dresser or two tile wide desk underneath the bed, sims can't get in the bed. They just stand there waving at you in dismay..."Help! The desk underneath my bed keeping me from sleeping!"
Otherwise, sims will be able to use the object under the bed, but not the bed itself.
