Lottery event not working?

Hi everyone!

My Sims just took part in the lottery event but there was no indication of winner. The event is finished (after 2 am) and I just got a message to say 'Successful.' When are the winners usually announced? Could this be a bug in my game? Its happened twice now.

    The lottery sounds fun. I never had it, played a full year, but I understand it's random. Maybe I was playing the wrong world, or is it an global event?

    And I'm curious to see what the prizes are like, hoping to get the lotterey soon :)

    Thanks! I'll look out for it. There's other events I didn't notice on first run through, too. Like the Easter bunny.

    One of my Sims that wasn't currently in the world won the lottery. However, the second time around, there was no notification of what Sim won. I checked everyone's household but so far, no luck. Btw, Does anyone know if one can also "create" the Lottery holiday on the calendar for themselves or is it only game enabled and random??
