Magic Duels

Question

What is up with the magic duels?  Two of my sims are maxed out on everything, yet they are constantly losing duels to lesser talented spellcasters.  Seems the only duels they win are against the sages.  In the last 10 duels against apprentice ranks, they lost all ten!  There is no way they should be losing these duels.  This is such a huge disappointment.  They worked long and hard to become virtuoso and practiced dueling each other so much they maxed out the talent points.  How are they still losing??

I disabled the Get Famous pack because the celebrities kept shutting down everything when they showed up. Couldn't dance, eat, or anything and got tired of cheating to send them away. Guess this pack is going to be disabled too. At this rate, I'm going to be disabling the whole game! LOL

I'd like to know the answer to this as well. I know it should not be a 100% guaranteed win for your trained Sims, but the results seem completely random on my end. I have to wonder if they just are.

Huh? Im not having this issue, things work just fine for me ? but I'm playing with Morgyn Ember, maybe he has some codes to win at a higher rate idk
