Make Sim alien don’t work

Hello,

I want to make my toddler an alien. I never played with an alien. For some reason the cheat: traits.equip_trait trait_OccultAlien does not work. The cheat works for the father. When I grow up my toddler I can't do it yet.

Can you help me?

    Do you have MCCC? If you're using the occult module, there's an "alien-ize Sim" command that works on all life stages except babies.

    If you don't have the occult module for MCCC or MCCC at all, then what you could do is this:

    cas.fulleditmode

    Age the toddler to an adult in CAS. Then use:

    traits.equip_trait trait_OccultAlien

    Go back to CAS and age them back down to toddler.

    Thank you for the answers! I've already tried this. I can change other Sims in the household to alien, but not my child. Very weird. I don't have MCCC. I don't like using CC or mods. If I install this and make my child an alien, can I remove MCCC afterwards?

    I can use the same cheat for mermaids and vampires on my child.

    Yeah, it's completely safe.

    @Sander16 MCCC and many mods are basically bug-fixes, or made to simplify settings in the game.

    For example I have one that makes sims eat and drink about twice as fast. (Or half as slow, depending on how you look at it, heh!)
