Once you buy something, the value instantly goes down when you resell it. So eventually you'll run out of money, in theory.
If you are not opposed to cheating I'd highly recommend the UI Cheats Extension mod - http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=558548
One of the features lets you right-click on aspiration goals to complete it.
If you have self control, you can only use it for specific instances. Like, for example, particularly annoying ones I don't care for like "Play an instrument for 50 hours" or "Achieve 6 Parties at Level Gold"
Girl I don't be havin' the time for all that now.
I might look into the UI mod. But only cause I'd had aspirations not complete when I've clearly completed them and it's a pain to hunt down the cheat to use to complete it. Thanks for the link! I'll go look at it. I have pretty good control. I only play cheats when either the game causes issues or I'm in a save where I do cheat. Some of my games are strictly non-cheaty (bugs/glitches aside).

Well, on the upside, you are putting your sim's handiness through the roof, which keeps things from breaking at home, or elsewhere if they feel so inclined.
(I always chuckle when my sim is visiting someone, their shower breaks and I have my sim fix their shower, and then the friend tells them to stop because they are being inappropriate. There isn't enough praise for having the ability to sabotage objects.)
That does get me to thinking, what if you could sell repair parts on the flea market table? Those are good for some decent simoleons. Selling them now and then has paid for rent when times got tough.
He's already maxed his handiness still. But we haven't had one thing break since I downloaded my sims new house. It's one I built some months back, so I know it doesn't have upgraded parts or anything. Just nothing has broke. Didn't even think of that until just now. I bet I jinxed myself. Now, everything's going to break same time. That's okay. Dad has that. No prob. lol
