Making money with the woodworking bench

My sim is making good money from the woodworking bench, but it's not counting towards the fabulously wealthy aspiration. Other than running a store to sell his items, what other way can he make money with the furniture that counts towards that aspiration? I thought we could sell them at the flea market, but there was no way to access the family inventory while there.
  • you could just do aspirations.complete_current_milestone if you don't feel like installing a mod

Yeah, that's what I usually do like when their soulmate aspiration didn't complete for being married to his best friend. I knew they were best friends, cause I had them become best friends, yet when it got to that part, it didn't fire off. But I can never remember the cheat so I have to search for it again. In the case of fabulously wealthy, I'd likely not use the cheat or the mod until I'm 100% sure he has completed each step, which gets a little more difficult as she is bringing in good money into the household, too and completing that same aspiration.
  • I track the money earned from furniture manually and then use the cheat Cyrus mentioned.

Another workaround would be to sell the handmade furniture, then buy violins (or other items that fit into the inventory) for exactly the sum you just made by woodworking and then immediately sell these items right from the inventory before they can drop in value. These sales register for the aspiration!

Or, if you have OR, check the Camping Mascot and learn the blueprint with a Handyness level seven (I think) sim. This an almost cheaty way to earn money.

I've never heard of this. What would learning the blueprint do? I really like the violin idea. I might do that.

Learning the blueprint allows you to craft a smaller version of the mascot statue. It costs $375 but can be worth $1500.
