Mastering all aspirations?

Have you ever made a sim to specifically master all aspirations? If so what traits did you give him/her? In my current play through I just finished the bodybuilder aspiration. My only concern is if I do attempt this I should probably do mischievous first and save popular for last? I'm going to do this for a totally new sim though, not one that I'm currently playing.

  • I love having sims master everything. I never go about it in one particular order, I just keep changing the aspirations based on what the sim is doing. It does sound smart to complete the mischief aspirations first. Either first or last, depending on how you want your sim to be viewed.
  • Unfortunately, one sim can't master all aspirations. :( There are several that require a position in different branches of the same career, and they've "helpfully" made it so you can't go back and choose the other branch later.

There are only two aspirations requiring a specific branch - Master Mixologist and Joke Star. Besides, you can pick other branch by having a degree or moving to a new game.

p.s. I linked a Sim who has completed all currently available aspirations in my signature.

I've never attempted this, but one suggestion would be to start with the Sim from birth, thereby allowing you to complete the top-notch toddler trait, and all of the childhood aspirations as well, as they provide benefits that will make achieving everything else that much easier.

I have several sims that I've had completed top-notch toddler, plus all childhood aspirations and character value traits. It definitely makes all other gameplay a lot easier afterwards.

James Turner has a lets play called Super sim challenge with his sim Max Power, and he has to complete all aspirations and get every trait in the game.
In my own game i'm using two sims to complete the super sim challenge
  • I do it, it's probably my main playstyle. I'm a completionist to a fault! You can go through one tier of all of the careers, save the sim in CAS, then start the CAS sim over again to complete the "other side" of the career branches.

A lot of the traits give RNG mood swings that often interfere with what I'm trying to do, so I try to avoid those as much as possible. I personally like to use the Athletic one to keep them from getting fat so I don't have to worry about stuff like calories while I've got my sim slaving away at skills.

The other traits I usually default to are Carefree, Bookworm, and Perfectionist, because you don't get any annoying bad moodlets from those. If they changed it so that you did, I probably would quit for sure and never waste my time in this game again. But it works for now, I've done a number of sims that way over the years. You really can do all the careers and aspirations on one Sim.
