plot twist: they just add huge windows 98 pc in the game and have pictures of it on shirts and entire stream is about that

I have such a hard time with this forum....so much absolute negativity. I don't get it. So many people obviously don't like this game and don't enjoy it and they come on here and dump on it but.....it just doesn't make sense. I can see being disappointed about a couple things once in a while but to complain about EVERYTHING that's being done for this game? Time to find another game. Free content is coming and nearly everyone is complaining....like little children not getting what they want. Wow.

95% of negativity is from the same dozens or so people posting over, over, and over again. These people are the definition of "vocal minority".

If you ignore the usual suspects there isn't much negativity at all.

I agree, we get enough packs for that.

Especially with anniversary updates you would expect them to put in some more effort and deliver upon gameplay features people have been begging for for years.

It's not like we have a shortage of BB items and clothing pieces...

Eh. They don't owe us anything, anniversary or not. I'm glad we get freebies. And there's never enough CAS and BB stuff (would anyone rather we got a surprise paid pack with stuff like that instead as a "present"?

idk im happy whatever we get for the free updates
(as long as it is new stuff and not recycling pack content)

but obviously would be even more happy if its cool stuff i have use for

I also sort of hope this specific patch is spicy for its anniversary patch
and couple recent patches left me bit ''eh?'' personally speaking

but we will see ~

They know we want gameplay. Cars or better babies would have been great for the 5th Anniversary, even burglars or something people have been asking for years.

Gifts have tended not to include gameplay, though: consider the holiday packs over the years or the Caribbean pack, or the recent Pride update. These are the most analogous to what we will be getting next week.

I consider the ghosts, pools, basements, gardeners, repairmen, toddlers and terrain tools to be restorations of missing elements. To their credit, the Sims team recognized these should be given back to us for free, if belatedly. Therefore, I have hope we’ll get some more of those elements in future, like burglars and firefighters, or improved babies.

But they’ve never given us something like that as a gift, or when we were expecting it. I am just happy to be getting free things — they’ve always been nice to have. And if you compare the free gifts we’ve been given in TS4 with the few paltry free things that came from the TS3 store (a hat, a dress, a lamp, a painting, and only a few decor objects on holidays), we’ve been lucky.
