Oh its definitely the Child of the Ocean trait. None of my mersims have it, and they happily eat whatever. And they make for great fisher-sims. Now play, for example, Makoa Kealoha (a non-mersim), and he will absolutely mourn his fish friends, if he sees them mounted and decorating a wall. And of course he won't eat fish, and gets sick if he does. I mean, accidents do happen, that's how I know (just like it does with vegetarians...quite often)
