So it does cost 5000 aspiration points but it’s not that hard to get those points especially with seasons and a lot of festivals. It gives you 11k simoleons quite frequently if planted in door so you get money all year round. Add copypasto magic you will beat any challenges in no time. We desperately need real estate system to spend all these monies to buy up all properties !

What is even better is to splice the money tree to another plant. This way the plant can be grown inside and harvested. My favorite combination is this; Dragon Fruit, Money Tree, Plasma Fruit tree. Instant income and food supply for my vampires.

You might just as well open the cheat box and type in money 100000 and have done with it :D

Yep mine pay out over 22k each, and if you harvest it and splice it or move it to inventory and get the fruits you can multiply the trees as much as you want. That being said, nothing wrong with "cheating" in this type of game as it's not really cheating since you aren't playing against anyone haha. I right out use the money cheats for many of my families to start them with millions. I like to play more realistically in my communities and having every single family start out poor seems really unrealistic. I play stories more than just grinding the start. Some of my families are poor and need to work their way up, but some aren't too, some I'm creating a story that they are celebrities or inherited a bunch and having them be poor takes away from the story line. I don't usually use money trees because it is too unrealistic to have money grow on a tree, not because of how fast you get the money haha!

Money trees are legitimately available in-game. In my world that's not how 'cheating' works. I have three money trees at 'perfect' quality . My sims still have jobs and careers but money isn't a worry for them anymore. They can choose to go to work or go on holiday or work on that hobby/skill that has been neglected. In the real world I am poor and have to work full-time to pay bills...in my Sims 4 life I am rich and my sims are free to do as they please...if only reality could imitate virtual life!!

I think the money tree has its place in the game. My current rich family pays about 29k in bills each round. Ive heard of other simmers with crazier amounts for bills. (I don't have money tree and the family is just one working adult with two kids so its actually quite fun to try and not get in the red.

I also want to try out the SNB mod that forces you to pay property taxes. KiniHokulani shared that her sim property taxes cost 15k each time. So yeah, I wouldn't mind the money tree to ease out the challenge when I get to that point.

I know it’s OP but I love it?Also if you put in in the household inventory when it’s resdy to be harvested you can get 8 of the plants again and keep regrowing.

The only time I've bought the money tree it was a game where I'd taken over Judith Ward and I thought it was apropos. ;)

I've never had one and now I need to get one. It would be fun for a story, where a Sim cheats their way into the millionaire's club or something.

It could be used by a criminal, kind of like printing your own money.
