Combined with the cutoff of 32-bit systems in June (with introduction of Legacy Edition that stops at Strangerville) it's looking likely we'll get something fairly big in late June or early July.
There is a big difference between late June and early July. Late June is the end of a quarter which means EA can recognize the revenue from the pack as soon as June ends. Meanwhile early July is the beginning of a quarter and EA wouldn’t be able to recognize the revenue until September is over. They’re much more likely to release games at the end of a quarter rather than the beginning. There has never been a Sims expansion released in July for example.
True, but they have said they are going to release 20 DLC during the fiscal year, and time is wasting if they don't start doing that and soon.
