Moving Out without having to sell or keep the furniture..

When moving a sim is there a way to leave the furniture at the original home without having to sell or keep the furniture? If you decide to sell the furniture it still takes it away right?

I hate leaving a house totally empty for future sims.. it just seems wrong. There should be an option to just leave the furniture.

    I just tested the option "Sell Furniture" on a random home, and the house did keep all of the furniture which was great. I must have chose "Keep Furniture" but I could have sworn I chose "Sell Furniture" instead. I did not know that this may be a bug for some people.

    Oh good then maybe I just had a glitch.. When the houses do become empty it causes sims not to move in automatically.
