You have to click on the bench while they are still making music and click burn track otherwise yeah, itll just go on forever. And if you cancel the action and get them to stop making music before you burn the track, the song is gone forever. I got him to produce a new track for a literal second, burned the track right after i got him to do the action and he had an "outstanding quality" track.
