Must See Animations

Aw this is a great idea for a thread <3

I love so many of the toddler animations-- two that come to mind are the shy wave with "talk to stranger", and toddler hugging another toddler.

The little dance that sims do when they get accepted to a Distinguished Degree. It's not even the same dance for everyone, it varies.

The sneaky looking around before and after romantic activities in a closet.

Autonomous nap in bath when a tired sim is taking a bath.

Two vampire toddlers practicing on biting each other hands is very cute :)

Many, many, many, but on top of my head this particular frame during hottub woohoo (the right sim!!!):

One of my top favorites that are a "must see" are parents cuddling kids on the couch!! It's so wholesome and loving everytime I see it my heart melts ??
I really hope to see more affectionate and loving animations in the future that don't look silly but sweet! I wish I had pictures but I don't at the moment.
Have you seen the toddlers imitating pets? That's cute too.

I love the carry toddler animation. It's basic but I can't get over those cute expressions the toddler makes ?? (honestly all toddler animations are really cute. Love when they destroy highchair food)

I love the idle animation that mermaids do as they hum and the paranoid animation always looking over their shoulder. Some of my favorites.

Those are the ones I can think of all the top of my bed but the couch cuddle is definitely my favorite. I wish they could do it idley while watching a movie.

@mightysprite The toddler animations are all so cute! I never noticed the wave I'm going to look for that next.

@Simmerville That I definitely have to see! I don't think I've ever had toddler Vampire twins.

@Babykittyjade I just saw the imitating pets one, so cute! I really like the cuddle one too. I never zoomed in when the toddler is being carried I will do that next time. With the mermaid one, do you mean when they make the high pitched dolphin sounds? I love that too.

I just upgraded the National Park in the Cottage Living world to add some camping facilities and my Sim decided to play the guitar next to the fire and a flock of birds started flying around her while she was playing the guitar. :love: Not sure if the birds show clear in the picture I was playing in laptop mode, there are a few on the ground listening to the song:

For toddlers, when they're satisfied/proud of themselves with their arms crossed over their chests. All toddler-pet interactions.

Friendly vampire spars ending with the victorious vampire helping the other up just feels really in-theme for me and I'm glad it has a separate ending animation from an unfriendly brawl. Also just the vampire sparring animation in general.

My favorite is probably when a toddler picks up a kitten to pet it. They scoop up the kitten so sweetly and gently rock it while they're petting it. It's just so sweet (I think puppies have the same interactions, but I'm not sure as I rarely give my sims dogs. I don't want to walk them in either simlife or real life.)

No deep reason. This is his swimwear-2 outfit, he span into it when I initiated hotub woohoo and I was laughing so hard, I wanted to see the whole sequence to the end.

You can see toddlers biting each other with human toddlers, too. Just make them angry, then the option should appear.

The Express Love animation is always awesome. There's two versions of it, one where the recipient (a child sim) has their cheek pinched at the end of the hug animation, and one where it's a long hug.

There's a scream and wave greeting that sometimes happens between two child sims that are best friends. It's cute!

@Elliandre You can do it in a way your toddlers will love you for: Give them something sugary to eat! They will experience a sugar rush (energized) and then get angry from the down.

(Yes, it's them! My absolute favorites ever since I started playing them in 2018. For them ten years have passed, three for me.)
