I use the randomizer from MTS to randomize who they are at birth. https://modthesims.info/download.php?t=606375 Sometimes I'll change things based on who they express themselves to be, but I usually follow it fairly well. Keeps things interesting to use traits and aspirations I don't normally.
It's a standalone program, so you can run it on a computer and take notes or whatever - it's not a mod.
Oh, I like this idea! It's terrifying but yet intriguing. So basically, once you have that randomized, you plan out their story around these things or do you let them just develop intuitively?"SheriSim57;c-18229950" wrote:
Time for best friends ( if she doesn’t already have them ) and boyfriends! Make sure you have some teen places so she can have some fun. If she is going to college this is the time to decide on a career and make plans for it and scholarships. Is she creative and likes painting or writing? Does she prefer politics or science? Does she want to be a teacher or lawyer? Does she want to follow the path if an occult? Does she want to concentrate on raising a family? It’s time to take a look at skills and aspirations and make some decisions on which to work on as well as have fun. Good luck!
So far, the only thing she seems interested in is cleaning dirty dishes although, I have always canceled this action since we have a butler. So she seems to be more inclined to just be a stay-at-home person. She doesn't have the neat trait nor do either of her parents so I'm not sure why she is so adamant about doing so. Her manners are maxed out and since everyone was so focused on caring for the quadruplet infants/toddlers, I have had her set the table exclusively. Now, she does it without request sometimes and I have to stop her from that as well so the quadruplet children can do it instead to build their manners.
But this isn't exactly about her as an individual. It's about Simmers and how you all play your game. That's why I haven't listed her traits or any identifiers about her until this post (as far as I know.)- wildirishbanshee3 years agoSeasoned Ace

I pretty much just use whatever the randomizer spits out, unless someone shows me that they really aren't following the "plan" lol. - SheriSim3 years agoSeasoned Ace

Well, I play with aging off most of the time. My teens usually have a best friend, and go out in groups with other teens, many have a boyfriend or girlfriend. I remember someone posting that they let their teens go to school by themselves on Monday and Tuesday, and they usually bring home a parenthood project and then send their teen to high school Wed-Fri. That way they can split their time between other family members, - That's interesting. So do you plan her future for her at all? Like, highschool doesn't last forever. So do you plan their life goals during highschool or just take one life stage at a time?
- Luvtehgeeks3 years agoSeasoned VeteranSince the infants are coming I would give her the big happy family inspiration then teach her to cook, garden and fish then make a half dozen spousal unit possibilities to go to high school and college with and get to know. That will give you a chance to play with babies and be a grandparent in the new expansion. Oh and she can be a stay at home parent since she likes staying home and doing dishes
- That's a great idea. I think, based on inspiration from all of you, that I've figured out how I'll determine her destiny.
As for the infant pack, I probably won't get it immediately. I always wait to see how many bugs it brings with and and for the fixes to come in. It may not be months until I get it.
It's not a Sims thing; it's a corporate games thing. - Luvtehgeeks3 years agoSeasoned VeteranGotcha, the infants themselves will drop in a patch so they can be played regardless of whether the expansion is included. ;)

Ah okay. I thought it was a pack. It makes sense that it's a patch though. I can't wait to see what they done did do now! Lol
I just hope the bugs have at least been rendered tolerable.
Edit: Wait, so after re-reading, is there a patch and a pack?- Luvtehgeeks3 years agoSeasoned VeteranThe infants come in a basegame patch, then the new expansion adds to them. :)
