My Elder sim won't die....

I have not been able to kill a Sim since the toddler patch. I never used to have much luck with electrocution, but had learned well how to manage embarrassment, anger, hysteria (super playful), starvation, and exhaustion (usually by woo-hoo). I starved this guy for 3 days; would not die. Went through my typical embarrassment routine, and extra; nothing. Tried to render him hysterical; at the point the weaponized and other special jokes would usually have killed him, my comedian no longer had the choice to tell the jokes. Anger, nada. Worked out until exhausted, then woo-hooed 3 times in a row. Nothing. Tried to get him to exercise after that, and the options were grayed out. I tried most of these when he was starving, which should have helped. I couldn't wait to grow a cow plant; needed the room in the house. I kicked him out. He can die of old age out there when he's ready. (It wasn't just him. I tried it with other elder Sims as well).
