- Ice cream! I use the diet ice cream all the time. Several servings will make the fattest sim willow thin.
- Gym Rat reward trait makes gaining weight harder, boosts fun when excercising, and keeps the sim clean during workout. It's only 500 points.
If you have Spa Day the muslce relaxing bath will cure the sore muscle moodlet faster than a regular bath or rest. Likewise, yoga is a good way to maintain body shape but I do think they build muscle after awhile.
Lastly, the main food that builds fat on sims is deserts particularly because they don't fill the hunger bar (because of the empty calories I guess) so simply avoiding that can keep sims at their set weight (give or take) if you don't see them being gym buffs.
P.S. the diet ice cream that came with Cool Kitchen Stuff does work and is great for helping kids and toddlers lose weight and there's also a weight gain ice cream but they do have to be level 4 cooking skill to make it I think. "meljones;c-17248842" wrote:

Or get your science sim to make a slimify potion :)- RouenSims6 years agoSeasoned AceIf I have a Sim I want slim, I just have them stop eating before they're full. I still have them eat whatever food is in the fridge, including cake. This method works well for me.
You can also just use a cheat and edit them in CAS. - It's not hard but it takes some time. When I have fat sims I have them eat salads for every meal (and only when their hunger bar is yellow) and have them run on the treadmill every day. They'll lose weight eventually. :)
- Hermitgirl6 years agoSeasoned AceI just feed them 0 cal food... unless it's been tweaked to have more in the code. I feed them any grilled foods, any fish meal, or fruit salads. If they eat fattening food they only eat till their full.
Then they usually exercise a few times a week, but what they do depends on on if I want them to muscular, lean (skinny) or normalish. I'm not much into making chubby or thick sims unless the character I'm making is like that and I want to keep them there.
I wish I had the discipline my sims live under :D - Sharooonia6 years agoSeasoned AceJust send him jogging for a few days. He will soon be back in shape.

Building muscles isn't the priority on a fat sim, at least right away. it is better to get the weight down first, creating a diet plan, and then slowly easing the larger sim into exercise machines and other physically demanding tasks so they burn off the fat and build muscles over time without causing a heart attack or hypertension in the process.
it is all about losing the fat at first so their bodies can deal with the demands of exercise a lot easier as opposed to asking a fat sim with no muscles to start lifting weights right away and potentially kill them by pushing them too hard too fast, it would be too greater shock to the body to manage. One needs to be eased into it until the body can manage the demands and adapt to what is being asked of it."sueplayssims;c-17248378" wrote:
Try jogging or running on a treadmill and when your Sims hunger bar is full, direct them to stop eating.
There are also foods that are higher in calories than others on TS4 so go for lower calorie options (a quick search online will give you a list).
It takes a bit of time but is definitely achievable to get Sims to slim down a bit.
that isn't right as you'd be eating the wrong food and building bad fats on your body that will just sit there.
this isn't how any of this works
not even in real life
So what is your take on how a fat person should get fit? simply stating i'm wrong isn't enough, if you got your opinion on the matter i wanna read about it.
In terms of the game, it makes no difference whether you choose to have your sim burn fat or build muscle first. Most of the muscle-building tasks won't even help them lose weight tbh And overexertion is only a concern for elders.
In terms of the other stuff you said; no, pretty much anyone trying to lose weight should also focus on strength training, not only because just having muscles burns calories. but also because they enable you to burn more yourself (it doesn't work that way in the game anyway tho). and eating macaroni & cheese isn't going to deposit fat onto your body that will "just sit there," it can be burned off for fuel like most of the rest.
And good and bad fats? saturates are ones to avoid when going for a healthy lifestyle and those are the hardest to get rid of compared to good fats.
Saturated fats is no longer considered bad it's and old study just like egg yolk keep being demonized, sat is a neutral since it also boosts testosterone which in turn helps build more muscle, what you really mean is a transfat where it came from the supposedly good fats (poly and mono), what @Cupid state about fat people need to do strength training as well as cardio is correct- Sorry i wasn't around most of yesterday to respond back.
It seems i'm getting bad advice from friends again and they are likely to get an ear full, i'll have to go check out proper facts when time permits and make sure that doesn't happen again. thanks for the correction. - DeKaythePUNK6 years agoLegendIt's harder to lose weight in real life, man.
