My sim got lost his celebrity tile

Unfortunately, no. I would've kept the original save and did whatever I could to fix the violin bug. Because once you transfer a sim to a different save, they lose connection with the tile. And the game recognizes that he's already been given a tile, so it won't give him another even if he reaches 5 stars again.

That's honestly ridiculous.

If you are restarting the game, create a twin and use that twin as your new starting sim. In case it's not an exact copy, go into the game with both sims in live mode, then use MCCC's CAS feature to copy and paste the face from the old onto the new sim, then delete the old one. While you're there, save the new clone in your library instead of the original.

It looks like it could be a hidden trait. You could try using coolspear's traits Add & Remove Traits On Sim Non Debug that can be found here simsasylum.com/tfm/index.php?/topic/12800-traits-sim-trait-application-system-reworked-new-additions-for-march-2018/. To search for and remove the trait. You have to register first at Naughty Sims asylum first though to be able to download, but it is worth a try.

Ok, so in order to regain a tile you need to:
First to book a celebrity cleanse if you have already purchased some fame perks.
Second quit the spotlight.
Third use this cheat: traits.remove_trait trait_Hidden_Fame_CelebrityTileAchieved
Then step into the spotlight.
Finally cheat your sim into a 5 star celebrity and tah-dah you get a new tile!

This Definitely fixed my Star Problem thanks!!

My Sim got her star and I cant really remember what happened but after I put the Inscription the star reset itself and It was stuck in my sims inventory and the Inscription and her name disappeared from the star and I couldn't edit it. Most recently it just disappeared completely from her inventory, (I rotate play, so I switched to her little Brother's family for a while, when he got his 5-Star Celeb tile, I wanted to place hers before his. Keep in mind that their older Brother already earned and placed his star, no problem... I can't remember what I did to make her Tile Reset but both her and her Older Brother were living together at the time, He gained his Global Superstardom first...)

But I ran this little fixed and it worked! So Thank You because this is my Legacy Save and I would have been hurt knowing her Stardom wouldn't live on in Del Sol Valley when she died if I couldn't get her to place her star!

You could probably use the cheats to get him to 4 stars, then he should be able to get the tile, no? Maybe worth a try.

I've tried the cheat method already in my own game, it doesn't work. A guru confirmed in a different thread that the tile would be lost for good, but I can't find the thread.

I already tried this cheat but didn't work unfortunately. :(

You're correct. I expected any other way but that was exactly what I felt with the tiles.
