My sim is pregnant!

Yes, you heard me right, My sim is indeed pregnant. I will have her give birth at home. I have heard of different sims having different pregnancy lengths.

Here are her first trimester pictures:

This is her at work during her first trimester

Here is the picture when she first found out she was pregnant:

And here is the picture of her with her husband during her first trimester:

Having the pregnancy waddle that early though I think is unrealistic. She looks more like she is in the third trimester and the first trimester looks like the second trimester. I can't believe how big a sim will get in the third trimester.

Here are some real women to compare:

Barely any change in a singleton pregnancy in the first trimester when it comes to the bump

And here is a comparison between a single baby and triplets, again in the second trimester

It looks like they made pregnant sims look like they are carrying twins when they could be carrying a single baby or triplets.

Does anyone know why my Nanny will not care for both of my babies? I had twins but only one is being cared for. The other is left on her own! Mommy had to care for her AND throw big sis a birthday party and it's not going well! Also...5 girls...no boys. Ugh...

That's nothing. I once had a couple who had six girls

My Sims 2 record was ten kids: seven boys and three girls. Fairly big gaps between the girls too. Three sets of twins.

Ahahaha yes that is true! If I Were a Rich Sim...Ya Ba Dibba Yibba...
  • In real life for me I got pretty big up front when carrying, so big in fact that I was mortified to later learn that the maintenance crew I walked by almost daily on the way to area I worked on had bets going if I was carrying more than one.... I WAS only carrying one, thank you very much. Everyone carries differently ;). That said maybe they did make the sims belly pretty big for the possibility of looking like they are carrying more than one.

In my game, the previous generation had a total of 7 boys before a girl finally arrived! I'm playing a matriarch type legacy, so the lack of a girl almost put an end to my family, but fortunately my couple stuck it out and had 2 girls and a final son before they aged up to elders :) Took some work on my part, some of the boys ended up moving out of the family home as teens in order to make room for the next attempt and the one boy in particular ended up having 8 kids (between 6 different women)! It's all in my family tree on the Plum Tree App :)
  • I'm not even pregnant and I look way more pregnant than the 11 weeks photo. LOL.
