Lol, what happens if you let a pregnant sim get old and eventually die?- Thanks I will try that.

Thank you! At first it was amusing that my Sim was in labour and thought working, cleaning, dancing etc were more important than having the baby but it quickly got annoying. - yeah i have a sim and shes in labor and i cant choose the option to have a baby because it says that there is no empty bassinet for her to give birth in even though i have bought it for her. i even get notifications that say that the sims service has sent my sim a bassinet for the little one. There's like 10 bassinets in my house and she still cant give birth
PLEASE REPLY IM STARTING TO GET REALLY MAD!! - theres also no option to go to the hospital
- astera00New SpectatorI had this problem too, yesterday. Even though there was a bassinet. Must be some sort of bug. Her sister was pregnant too and they were in labour at the same time - they live in the same house. There were muliple bassinets. Her sister gave birth but she didn't, day after day. She even went to work and came back, but still no baby.
What solved it for me was when I went into build mode and moved the bassinet that had automatically been provided. It seems she was blocked from accessing it. I don't get why, there was plenty of room to have it in a place where she could easily access it, normally the game automatically places it so there's access. Not sure what went wrong there and never had this problem before, even when multiple sims are in labout at the same time. "HeyimDiz;c-16374497" wrote:

You do realize that this is a 4 year old thread... right?
But anyways, try deleting all of the bassinets and put just one there. Maybe repair your game?- Stina1701ASeasoned NoviceDo what Alyssasimmer15 says, delete all the bassinets and put only one and repairing the game via origin could help. I also have found that exiting the game completely and then coming back in sometimes fixes annoying bugs, although I have never had a stuck pregnancy before.
Another thing you should do too is that if you have any mods and/or CC, remove them and then go back into game and see if she will give birth then. - EA_LannaCommunity ManagerThank you for adding suggestions and ways to help the Sims give birth :) I will be closing off this discussion as it is a 4 year old thread and necroposting is against the rules.
