My vampire sim doesn't know he cant go outside in the sunlight

Slightly bothersome issue indeed, I have a Master vampire with full lore skill and no sun resistance because she is meant to be more nocturnal but she just stand there burning in the sun when she returns from work! I've had a couple of townies die from sunlight as they tried to socialise and play chess with some normal sims.

I hope they'll start fixing this. It's not a bug but it is slightly frustrating and not to mention unrealistic, surely they would go inside.

I've got a graveyard with six unfortunate NPC Vampires that have died from being out in the sun like normal sims. I hope there's a fix to keep this from happening, I can't exactly lock ALL the NPC vampires in their coffins during the day.

It would be cool if the higher the vampire lore skill they get, the more they autonomously stay out of the sun - unless they have the sun resistance perk. Or they could just unlock the awareness at a certain level of the lore skill. @SimGuruNinja

Yeah mine always hibernate during the day as well, so I haven't really encountered this issue yet ^^

Interesting. I'm not playing with any vampires, but there are NPC vampires in my game. They all seem to go out in the sun without any effect. I'm always worried that they're going to harm themselves, but so far they seem fine. I do have aging off for nonactive households, but that hasn't prevented tragedies before.

Or max the Vampire Lore skill.

That's horrible. Does the Grim Reaper come up to take the soul of NPCs? I really don't like having the Grim Reaper to appear in my game cuz I don't want to see him hanging around in public places. LOL.

Well the vampires I've made have sun immunity trait and I just moved them to random homes and they are doing fine.

Now I see NPC vampires that only come out at night I think mc command center might of made them but they never come out in the day and I never saw any vampire burn in the sunlight yet.

So that's kind of lucky?

Now I'm hesitating to make a low vampire now if the vampire is that...bad and they don't have the sun immunity trait.

Ha ha, those vampires sure do lack some intelligence. Mine went to empty the trash and then stood outside chatting to someone before I realised he was beginning to fry and made him come in.

My other vamp decided to ignore the great big indoor floor area and head to the tiny balcony to chat to her toddler, thus beginning to steam a little before I noticed.

I rather like it though (the sun harm, I mean, not their stu-pidity). Vampires should need to take care about going outside in the sun.
