Need help setting up a weekend "bake sale" like event please

I would like to play a very simply round of the Sims 4, just to explore all the crafting, cooking, baking, ect all in one go (ie bake and cook all the recipes, craft everything, create robots, ect) because I've missed out on a lot content I own, but never explored (due to my usual focus on family legacies, ect.)

Than after my sims have crafted, baked, ect I'd like them to go and sell their weeks creations to the neighbourhood/other sims on the weekend (aka likea bake sale every saturday.)

However I'm not sure the best mechanism (in-game) to do the later, I just really like the idea of seeing other sims buying what my household spent a week creating (rather than "sell all" from their inventory.)

I figure because I own all the DLC, there must be something, some object or mechanism (beside the retail shop, that seems a little too involved for "saturday" bake sale?) that would work best for this type of game play?

I do recall trying to use the yard sale/table once before (on my households front yard by the sidewalk) and literally nobody stopped to buy anything. So I don't know if I need to set that up/a sale in specific area or venue type that I'm unaware of, in whatever form is available be it a table.

I might also not be aware of a object or function I could use (from a DLC) thats better than the yard sale table too, especially from a more recent DLC?

I'm also curious if I bake or cook food, would I have to sell it the same day or is there a way to store it for a couple days to sell it later? I know it goes bad usually within 24hrs doesn't it? Is there a way to keep it fresh to sell later?

Any help greatly appreciated!
