Need Inspiration For San Sequoia Premades

While I am waiting for a few bugs to hopefully be fixed before I play again, in the meantime I am continuing to plan out my Custom Save File that I am building for myself. Ever since Sims 1, I have enjoyed playing premade characters as much as I enjoy playing my own Sims, and every version of the franchise, I have played a combination of both. In the Sims 4 I've been recreating some of my favorites from previous games, and I have a pretty clear idea of what their storylines will entail. However, I am looking for some inspiration as to what to do with the San Sequoia premades. I have no ideas! I try not delete anyone, even if I might move them to a different lot. I know CAS makeovers are definitely needed for the Robles family, because I find it hard to believe that the founding family of San Sequoia would be so casually dressed, except for the grandfather, who is wearing a suit. So, I wanted to ask the community, if you're playing the Same Sequoia premades, what have you been doing with them in your game? Or what do you plan on doing with them?

Thanks!
  • Hey everyone, thanks for your feedback! :) I think the Michaelson's definitely have potential for some nice family gameplay. I know both parents are tech-oriented, though, which isn't my favorite type of Sim to play.

@Future - I like that you gave Celeste an extended family. I have contemplated downloading her father, Sebastian, from the Maxis gallery. In my opinion, it's odd they didn't include him officially in the pack, since it is devoted to generational gameplay.

@Olalla1986 - Your idea to use the Robles family to test out new pack features is a good idea! That's interesting that your sim was dating Aurelio, because I thought I saw on the Sims Wiki that he was aromantic (I hope that is the right term). Your Sim being an orphan trying to fit into a big family sounds like a potential for either drama or personal growth, depending on how it turns out.

@kerryemmiebeth - I am intrigued about the Science Baby option! I did hear there was a mod that allows a person to have a pregnancy when getting a Science Baby, and that is definitely how I would prefer to do it, too. Like someone going to a fertility clinic so they can have a baby on their own, as a single parent, or in the case of the Michaelson's, two parents. Kudos to you for keeping with the Greek Mythology inspired names for their newest kid!
  • @Future I haven't downloaded the grandfather yet, but I saw someone say he is now on the Maxis Gallery.

@Olalla1986 That sounds like some challenging relationships to navigate! But I do like that Growing Together has enhanced the personalities & relationships of our Sims like never before (in the Sims 4, anyway) so that they seem more real.
  • The only family I somewhat play with is Robles family, in the way that my sims is/ was dating Aurelio when she was teen and they broke up. But as YA they are still into each other and my sim has undying crush so I guess I’m going to be involved with this family. The grandfather already died and they had two more kids of their own. I will test all features with them like family reunion and such because my sim is an orphan. She has terrible relationship and awful compatibility with Aurelio’s mom and she (my sim) is mean so could be interesting.
  • I have only played with the Michaelson's so far. Celeste and Christopher had a Science Baby. I am trying out playing with mods which is something I have never really done before. I used the mod that lets you have a pregnancy with the Science Baby. Celeste had the pregnancy and they had a baby girl I called Electra to try and fit in with the names of the other children. She is now an infant and is very cute! She will be playing a part in my Kyleson Aspiraton Challenge story.

Aurelio is aromantic, but not asexual. He dislikes flirting, but likes affection (friendly and romantic) and he doesn’t mind physical intimacy. And just yesterday my sim turned from mean to good, thanks to Growing Together change trait option, but mother and father still hates her and she has awful compatibility with both parents. Literally every interaction with them fails, except for jokes and mischief with mother.
