What does muh bowler hat mean?

I'm so happy that they addressed this issue:

We have removed the female preference for holding toddlers in family portraits.
Sims related to the toddler are now of equal likelihood to carry the toddler in the portrait.

I opened a thread some months ago commenting on this, it might seem like a small thing but it makes me happy they listened :)

So yes, I guess it's confirmed, it was a conscious choice. So happy the corrected it.

You know there is a base game bowler hat? It was removed from male Sims due to "cosmetic issues with hair" and only female Sims can wear it now. I was just being cheeky about it. Least I'm not really mad about it. Well actually, female-framed Sims can wear it only, which still makes even less sense.

How do you do a family portrait?

I'm happy about the laundry bug fix at least!

Assuming these fixes actually all work and there are no new gamebreaking bugs, this was a great patch! My favourites are:

"Sims that you know that are mixologists, caterers, or entertainers will now be available to hire for Social Events your Sim chooses to host."
If I interpret this right, it means that my Sims in those actual careers will be available for hire, not just Sims with the right skills - is that right @SimGuruNick?

"Check Toddler has been checked over and should be more reliable when toddler checking."
Thank you, I hope this means that every time I rotate to a family they're not randomly "checking toddler" and refusing to do anything else!

You know, I am so impressed the team even acknowledged this was an issue, let alone fixed it. I feel like that's the sort of thing the community raises hooplah about, never gets acknowledged, but is quietly changed in a patch note without acknowledging the problem so that the team "looks good". I feel in general the patch notes have improved a lot - a lot less nonsense padding out lack of updates, and more acknowledgement of by-design features that the community took issue with and wanted changed. So thank you very much Sims team for changing this!

How do you do a family portrait?

The family portrait is apart of the house hold image like you would see after creating a house hold in CAS or you would see in the Gallery of families.

I love that clubs can now play cards. I tried to set up a club like that long time ago, but had to make them play don't wake the llama instead.

I'm so glad they addressed the Sims getting angry at woohoo partners for sleeping.
