That was added with the refresh. Did it stop working at some point? I haven't added nails in CAS in a little while.

Edit: Nope. I haven't updated, and I can still access the nails close up. Also sadly still doesn't do it for rings.

I had never seen that until about an hour and a half ago. I add nails to 75%+ of my sims.

The camera has always zoomed in for nails in my game. Not updated yet. Weird that it never did that before in your game @DaniRose2143

Aww, it was really cute to see my toddler from my last game greet me today. She's so smart. :heart:


And I really like the new resume feature. It's great to be able to jump back in the game where I left off.

Unfortunately, I got scared and had to shut my game down pretty quickly. Can someone please let me know when the ring ring lady is gone from the main screen. I hope I don't get nightmares now from updating my game before going to bed.

I love that the Resume button takes us right into a household now. I’ve always wanted this shortcut. I’m sure there will be times when I’d rather load the world, but those are way less frequent for me and I am cool with using Load Game for that. I mean what’s worse, one extra click or one extra thing to load and have to wait for?

I don't mind the new loading screen, though I still prefer to have the gallery and options buttons in the top corner, in the same location as they are inside the game.

I am a bit confused and what bugs are high on the list of maxis for fixing. Rockets not being able to be used at all seems more important than visual glitches on fingernails or a mirror. That's my personal opinion of course, but it makes me wonder.

I don't like it. First, I'm going to assume this update to the UI is for console players since most PC gamers like aren't really interested in Resume game unless they play only one household and or a legacy. The setup of the UI looks like mobile gaming in those regards. Second, rotational players rarely pick up where they left off since they play whatever household and or world and or build whatever tickles their fancy on any particular game. So, with all that in mind it seems Maxis did the update to the UI for mobile and console players.

Third, why would I want to download that Sim? Who is she? She seems to be a preset Sim of any flavor that anyone can build within two minutes in the CAS to play. Waste of space unless they want to actually spend time building rare and unusual Sims or even celeb exact look alikes for players to play. Why would I waste my Simming time with a preset Sim face and hair when I can do this myself within two minutes.

Patch notes. As others have said it seems the art team did some fixes but where are the fixes for gameplay issues and or objects?

Edit to add, the reason I'm not impressed with Resume is because in TS1, TS2, TS4 rotational players and others always could choose anywhere else to play on any particular day. This was no longer possible for TS3 since we had to load the last played Sim/household which was extremely annoying in that game...I complained about that, too, to no avail. Yes, I realize we can 'Load' Game but how is that clear unless someone does it? Or comes here? I don't know why players and Maxis keep trying to turn TS4 into a mini version of TS3 in some ways (there have been some things that do) when they don't particularly care for TS3 and loved TS4 for being different than TS3. Sigh.

I agree, I love it ?
When I want to load the "world view", I can then just use the Load Game button, but it's great that if I want to continue straight playing the last played household, I can get there faster without the extra load time in between ?

As a rotational player who gives equal time to my families, it’s nice to load the game exactly where I left off without having to think about it!
