No more parties?

@crocobaura I’ve done this too. Lol. I remember once my global superstar vampire got invited once on a Friday evening and I didn’t send him home until Tuesday morning. I kept cheating his needs so he could stay and party. Me and him were having way too much fun to end the party early. Sims were falling asleep on the benches but my vamp was just dancing them all to exhaustion. It didn’t hurt he had the dance machine trait.

Lol, I don't cheat needs, they get fulfilled. If my sims have a bush to sleep and something to eat, they are good to party. Or whatever. Like the Hangover movies. :)

The invitations were the only time I ever left my lot, except for special circumstances. I was highly annoyed when no one invited me to a few festivals, but I guess I know why now. They don't like me anymore! *pretend sobbing*

they really should have just added ☆Toggles☆

I'm not big fan of phone invites but that is just because there was no way to toggle those off or get rid of your sims phone so they'll stop ringing your ancient vampires about geekcon

like nothing wrong with party or 2 tho just that id like to choose when my sims are available for invites and when not

Obviously they meant to tone it down, but they managed to pretty much completely remove the feature altogether.

i still get invited out all the time. but i havent got any party invites for a long time. maybe thats what was changed. i got my 1st should we have a baby the other day. pretty cool. not sure id want it spammed though.

Already have mods to stop the blind dates and job offers. Now if only they would stop the "I heard you became friends with ....." blabla, I'd be quite happy. Haven't found a mod for those yet.

Yes! My sim can’t be friends with someone without them confessing love. I do quite like it as it makes things more interesting but sometimes I have to pretend it’s a joke their friend is playing on them.

If you want to make friends fast without building romance by using charming introduction and beguile, use the best friendly introduction then take 2 selfies with them. It feels cheaty to me, but the game doesn't give you any other way to build friendship faster. There should be friendly equivalents to Great Kisser and Beguile.

Playing an unflirty sim with a friendship aspiration can be an interesting challenge.
