No Same-Sex Dorm Rooms?

I’m pretty sure they said you can make dorms same sex or mixed. But don’t quote me.

You can set gender restrictions per each dorm building. So you can absolutely have male or female only dorms.

And you can assign the NPC roommates to beds, so even if you have a co-ed dorm, the rooms can be male or female only depending on how you assign the beds.

You can make a dorm male/female only in the build settings. Or use the gender doors in build mode to separate areas. The starting situation is that all the dorms allow anyone to live there.

I believe the cheat is needed if you have sims living there. If no sims live there you don't need the cheat.

Also if you want co-ed dorms, but not the rooms themselves, you'll have an option who sleeps in which bed, so you can have just male or female sharing the same room. There is also an option to lock the doors to only allow those who belong in the room to enter.

Not a mod, it's a lot type option selectable for University Housing.
