Nobody will come to lot

Is the game recognising the lot as residential? I haven’t been in San MyShuno for years. I’m not sure which area you mean.

When people don’t show it’s happened twice when I’ve put houses on community lots, even though I marked it residential there’s been a glitch. It still reads as a community lot.

I’ve had to move the Sim, bulldoze the lot replace with a fresh copy and select residential again. Second time works as intended.

Also make sure Private Dwelling isn’t a lot trait.

Edit: tried moving my sim out, deleting the lot, rebuilding and then moving my sim back in. Still no guests. Lot is recognised as residential.

Also, there are other ways to induce lot popularity. Theres a 20x20 park in Del Sol valley that's right smack in busy when you are in play/build mode. You can always adjust the lot parameters to suit your needs.

Try a game repair.

And it also doesn't have the Private Dwelling lot trait?

Sometimes esp in San Myshuno sims will appear in the neighborhood but get distracted before they get to the front door. You can click on the sim's picture in the relationship panel and "Focus the Camera" on them if they are nearby.

You could try resetting the sim. Maybe the sim herself is bugged. Or the mailbox.

Yes focus the camera on who you’ve invited. They sometimes linger nearby the lot.

I downloaded Simproved’s Pride and Prejudice mansion a while back, placed it on Windenburg the island bit but accidentally put it back to front. The visitors were off to the side further away where the front door should be. They didn’t run round but stayed there ??‍♂️?.

I had to put a new front door so they would come in.

Thanks for all of the replies! The lot is definitely set to residential, has a mailbox and even had one neighbour come over to welcome to neighbourhood (although he comes back to do it again every time I resume my game).

I’ll try the focus camera idea, resetting the mailbox and will try deleting and replacing the front door.

I reset my sim, but that didn’t work either.

Other issues I’m having in this save are that she often “goes to work” but never leaves home, and her icon stays greyed out. If she works from home, her work day never ends. Maybe it’s just that community lots in that spot (it’s originally the gym in San Myshuno) just bug out as residential?
