I have a question. My Yellow level just became a child so I was reading up on that level to see all that is required. It says that she can't have any close relationships expect with her grandparents....

I believe it is no other close relationships except for grandparents until the grandparents die. So. Once the Mint Gen couple dies, then the Yelliw sim can have close relationships with other sims.
