Currently building a huge farm in Oasis Springs for my sim.
I designed a huge yard with a fenced in cowshed, chicken-coop and a swing. Just had a vision, the family and future kiddos can hang out in the yard together. Kiddos having fun and just hanging out.
Luckily I always have test-sims try my builds while I build them. Three guesses what happened.
- I tell the sim to pet a chicken.
- The sim pets the chicken and the runs to the swings.
It was impossible to get the sim to show the animals any kind of attention. My brand new test sim could not be in that enclosure with swings, everything else was forgotten.
I have had another build with a accessible swings and that worked great but then I had been playing those sims for months. They did crafting, magic or other things autonomously. The poor little test sims had no way to fend off something as alluring as swings. So I deleted the swings. The kids will just have to wait until they go to the park or something.
