In my story it all started when Lilith went on with her aspiration, got together with Don and turned him (which he enjoys greatly).
Then they had twin daughters, Claudia and Sybilla.
Later she turned Morgan for Caleb.
They are the "good" vampire clan in my game.
Vladislaus saw Vatore clan spreading and felt both jealous and heavily outnumbered, so he decided to get some offspring too.
He changed Wolfgang and Malcolm, who then started whining that Vatores have pretty girls and he only had this excuse of a sibling and made Vlad turn Luna for him.
Malcolm and Luna now have a son, Vladislaus Straud Jr.
They are the "evil" vampire clan, apparently.
