Off-the-Grid Authors need love

Why not have both typewriters and notebooks/pens? Sure I've used a computer when writing, but also pen and paper for notes, like characters and special things that happen, ideas that pops into my head and all that.

Why limit the options? I want All The Things. Make it happen, Maxis.

Yeah, I forgot to put pen and paper notebooks down as a voting option, but I would love to have that options as well!

I also miss the drafting table from Sims 2 & 3!

I want both too. We can gain the writing skill via the diary so why not a notebook that sim can write actual books in.

Honestly this is overdue and overlooked. Notebooks are already in the game, they already have a writing animation... Just give it a writing interaction and bam! Off the grid writing. I mean they submit books via mailboxes not the computer.

Typewriters getting the paper stuck, the typewriter's return arm flying off... I can envision all kinds of fun animations.

I desperately want notebooks so my medieval sims can write books. I'd love if we get more than one notebook mesh with a variety of styles (vampire tome style, prehistoric-looking leather folder style, modern style etc) and an update to the journal.

Typewriters would be lovely! Absolutely great for aesthetic choices, hipster sims and historic saves. It would be very interesting to see a pile of pages accumulating and then finally being compiled into a book once it's done.

I'd love both too. My author which now lives in an off-the-grid lot has to visit the library or any community lot that has a computer to write his books.

An nice old typewriter would be perfect for a widowed writer alone at his lake house.
